Finances and not making profit.

I see the same as everybody else about the finances being red most of the time and I have been playing iGP for years... Yes in the past it was very easy to make money and I have 2bn from that time but going the other way now and losing money all the time is not the solution or realistic either. I don't know what the solution is but this is not good for the long term for sure.

I didn't actually spend the tokens on in game cash. I used the tokens for headquarters upgrade (speed ups) and for driver training speedup. I entered the league at level 3 with 35 million cash and two tokens. I spent in game cash on design headquarters and tokens for speedups to get design to level 5. I spent more tokens on driver training speed ups to get my legacy drivers to level 5. This resulted in not one second gained against a level 8 team except when that team made errors. But it did demonstrate that any effort to take advantage of extra xp was going to take lots of real world cash.

For me the news is that I only lost 12M so far with 3 races to go in the season. :)

I did fire my doctor and replaced him with the cheapest one I could find as my drivers are fully trained. That saves about 500k each race which was quite welcome.

Still quite hard to make the objectives to be honest but that might also come down to understanding why some teams do good while having lower manager levels. Part of that performance might be having 2 CD's leveling out their weaknesses which seems to give the slight advantage needed in a highly competitive league. Or better said, you hardly can afford a weakness in the design as you willl not recover from it during a season. So basically the savings from firing the doctor went into having an extra CD plus a little extra.

my drivers are fully trained too, and I didn't even consider firing my doctor...hmm....I'll be level 15 soon, so I suppose firing him won't be a problem.

I'm at level 5 and i just fired my good doctor for one more cheap.
