New Look iGP

Jack, will the way retirements work when cars run out of fuel change in the new iGP format? Right now, when cars run out of fuel they retire immediately, however, if a car is in the pits, or is just meters from the finish line, technically they should be coasting to a stop! Whether they make it to their pit box or cross the finish line depends on how far they are or how fast they would be traveling.

A car with high downforce would slow down more quickly and a car with less downforce would travel a bit further when coasting.

Simple physics things, like this, seem to be the downfall with current technology. The reason it doesn't do that is the same reason cars don't crash or run off line or overtake round people, not through people. All the cars are currently on a tramline system so if the new tech could bring us off that it would be epic!

This can be implemented, I don't think it would be difficult, rather than it is time consuming to build and test it again and again. It doesn't have to follow strictly in line with real life physics. By any chance do you understand code?
