I started again with this team, as my last one was always 10+ places behind like wise teams. Dev's looking & commenting would really help. It's also a way better way of troubleshooting than what you guys are doing now...but at least this is something.

I'm trying to find the source of that (2nd car faster and team-mate qualifying difference). But it's really frustrating that as more I try, less I understand.

When you used the "right" ideal setup for both drivers, who usually qualifyed ahead Gustavo?

Maurício, the taller one.

This is a case of where it's very annoying. A 0.184 second difference, but 17 positions

Today's race I had an expected qualifying proximity between my drivers, although not perfect, it is good enough with few cars in between after the last 9 races being all over the place. But with Gustavo's answer I think it might be age related as the "worse" driver in quali is the oldest one. Unfortunately, now it seems Noah is suffering from the same problem in quali (∆0.221s and 17 places).

I would like it to be this simple, just age related, but the issue seems to be "transferred" to Noah, so it seems to be something else behind the curtain is causing this. Not sure if it's car number related, qualifying order at some specific race which ran in tracks with inverted pit-box order or something like that.

Daily report:

Driver #1 (1.89m)  1: 1:33.496
Driver #2 (1.65m)  1: 1:33.365
(Highest different of season)

I wonder if my drivers were both same age, they would provide closer qualifying lap despite being different height.

The height has an impact 100 times higher than the age. So same age implies closer but not in a relevant way.

But I dont understand the link with this thread..

Well, if you look at Richard's drivers and knowing that they have the same setup preference for ride height you would expect the same qualifying times as it happens with Kevin. But his drivers have a year difference while Kevin's are the same age and this applies to me, Gustavo and now Noah as well. So, from the outside, it appears to be age related, but I don't have a clue why this happens and why it not affects everyone, but only a few, or why it only started in Hungary for me and not before that.

You are right, it doesn't fit this thread for "car 2 is always quicker". Maybe someone could move those last threads to a new one for "driver gap in qualifying" or something like that.

Gustavo is a moderator and he should know that you should open a new thread to talk about something different from the bug.

Anyway I repeat, there is no relevant impact due to the age. There is an infinite number of couples with different ages and same setup that always do the same time in quali (or very very very very close) and there was a big gap also for Vinigano for example (Same age).

It was not a rain race, it was at Austria. Car 1 is ahead of Car 2 by 0.062 seconds, or 2 positions. What a miracle.

@Juanito, I can't move only few answers.

I've only written that because for me it could be having an influence to the subject. But if you think this is off-topic, I move on.

I almost didn't use same setup tonight. I should be glad I did it :)

Daily report: This one was close too

Driver #1 (1.89m)  1:32.287
Driver #2 (1.65m)  1:32.336

Do you have any ideas on what should I try to get their qualifying times even closer ?

Mines seems to be "fixed" as well with the biggest gap being 0.016s or 5 places since Belgium and almost clocked the same time in Canada.
What about both cars on the shorter driver setup? Does the Center of Gravity makes a difference?

Canada is always good for my drivers as well, that track might explain why others aren't so close  ;)
