Decimal fuel values and simulator upgrades

Now when there is less than 10 litres of fuel in the car a decimal value will display instead of a whole number. This has been implemented to prevent confusion and guesswork over how much fuel is in the car on the final lap of a stint.

I'm moving to another country tomorrow, and it will take a couple of weeks to settle in. While I move work is ongoing to fully and finally address issues with lag in the simulator, which will make the system more scalable as a whole.

This project to improve the scalability of the service is probably one of the most important we have ever had. It will be important to the quality of the service and quantity of people that we can reach that we make this upgrade. We have set aside 3 months in total for the project, but this does not mean that we won't be releasing other updates at the same time. We will be releasing updates alongside this project to improve the web game aspects of iGP Manager.

We'd like your suggestions...

What updates would you like to see to the web game aspects of iGP Manager. This is any area of igpmanager.com which is not the race viewers. Our staff that develop the race viewers will be occupied with the simulator update. In the meantime, I will be free to make upgrades to the web game. What would you like me to work on? Mobile support for setting up cars on the go? Interface improvements? More items beyond level 10? Let us know in the comments below.

i would like to see more variety in partnerdeals. Stats of Engines, Fuel and tyres changes after each season. So that you need to negotiate with other companies. As now you kinda stuck with your partners for the rest of your iGP Manager days. Also after lvl 10 u get the ability to create your own (simple, Trackbuilder?) test track, where you can put (limited) money and time in testing to improve your car, drivers & pitcrew. Talking about pitcrew, the ability to hire a pitcrew and train it.

I’ve thought for a while it would be nice to have sponsorships tied to reputation. The odds of a sponsor accepting your proposal would depend on your reputation, their reputation, length of contract and the amount of the contract. Newer players then need to work harder to earn top sponsors’ money, and good drivers would have to maintain good results to keep theirs. Players would be forced to use lower-tier sponsors, instead of maxing out the top sponsors and having more money than needed.

Less engines in season would spice up races a bit... we dont really need so many engines, even in 2 team drivers mode!

One thing that's been requested for sometime is Team Name just after team driver in live races... would be great!

Compenents of the car randomly fail instead of slowing then retiring.

There's loads of media involvement in the real world of F1, maybe try replicate some of that by having media requests or give out team statements that sponsors, suppliers or drivers react to?

I would like to see it compulsory to run 2 different Dry tyre compounds within a race to align with real F1, and for League Managers/Hosts to have the ability to Select which Dry compounds are brought to Each Track, would also be interesting to see how No Refuelling would go, Fixed Fuel load at start of the race / not be able to use more than xxx L per race, scaled back for lower % distance races, e.g. 50% race dist., 1/2 amount of 100% race mandatory fuel load.....

This has been mentioned a couple of times but the ability to set push levels when configuring tyres and fuel loads per stint, this will help with managers who are absent from race days.

What about a facility to train your pit crew and improve stop times? Maybe designate staff to particular stations within the crew. Research different fuel pumps to put fuel into a car faster but maintain safety.
