Change qualifying system

It would be nice to hear from mods/devs that they acknowledged this.

They should give you more chances to try your tyres and fuel, like a free practice, before starts qualify. Then qualify starts in a window time, like 2 hours before race.

I'm new

I like the idea of having the chance to adjust the strategy after Qualifying! It would enrich the gameplay!

If we were permitted to change strategy after qualifying everyone in the league would qualify using SS and bare minimum fuel in an attempt to get near the front safe in the knowledge that no matter where they actually end up they can adjust their strategy to suit. How does everyone qualifying with identical tyres and fuel make it any better than the current system?

I agree with the original post, qualify on stint 1 tyres and fuel. You can choose an aggressive strategy of a light car on super soft tyres which will give you grid position and a very fast car at the beginning of the race or harder compound and more fuel and attempt the overcut.

Even if this was introduced, after a few seasons the top managers will have worked out the optimum strategy and we'd be back to square one.

Apologies for going off topic but I still think track temperature needs to have much more influence on tyre temperature, wear and grip. This would result in there not being a single ideal strategy every season, the ideal strategy would subtly change between winter and summer.

Great suggestion. I hope the admin of IGP can apply it before the summer. The qualifications, especially those of the last races of the championship, are too random because we have a very similar car.

Welcome to the game Diego.  I'm reading all the great guides in the "help and support" section of this forum. I suggest you do the same, you'll find a lot of useful information that will help you get on your way. 

This is a suggestion, right? What's next ? A forum riot?.....LOL!!! 


The system could use a lift, absolutely!! Is it detrimental to the game itself.....unlikely!  As we are proving it so as we play as is.

I mean, if you look at all the suggestions in this forum it's simply impossible to choose a starting point...Every suggestion has a legit point to it.  I'm sure the devs as we speak have a plan in motion addressing those items on their list they foresee more adaptive....Unfortunately they're not sharing that info with the rest of us other than vague leading statements. And I understand that. 

It is detrimental to the game when you hit about Hungary as cars are nearly the same dev.  Most managers level 19 or 30.  All driver level 20.  There has to be a way to differentiate and race fuel will do that.

We need absolutely a qualifying change. I've also posted a request in "help&support" for what is happening to me 

It's a great reply but they are saying it's a 1 lap roll of the device.  Qualifying with race weight would be a great overhaul
