Jack
Thanks for the feedback. The rest I don't understand, but I understood right away that you'd changed "fuel economy" and "tyre ecnomy" to "consumption". Calling it "consumo" is misleading, because "high consumption" implies the opposite of economy.

The rest of the suggestions look reasonable, based on the very little (i.e. none :D) Italian I can understand.

you are right.. so change "consumo" with "risparmio"
There are little grammatical errors and some words are not used in the right way in italian :)
Other italian guys can confirm it.
Btw, congrats for the great job you are doing :)

By the way, why is there a preference for Gara instead of Corsa in Italian? There's a very popular racing game called Asetto Corsa, so wouldn't it make more sense to use Corsa?

it's the same, no big differences, but "gara" explain better the concept of a competition or a match.
"Corsa" is like run o running, its's more general.
You're learning a new language :D

Some questions about your suggestions, Andrew.

Punta for 'bid' translates as 'tip' on Google translate (not reliable, I know). Is that really the right word though? I translated 'bid' and it suggested 'offerta'.

Asetto translated as 'Attitude' using Google translate, which doesn't sound like a car setup, lol.

I added most of the other suggestions but need clarification on these. I will upload the changes soon.

It's an auction ("asta" in italian). We use to say "puntare soldi" to mean bet money. "Punta" is the imperative form of "puntare". Italian is so complicated i know..

Assetto is the only word to mean car setup! Remember Assetto corsa ;)

Google translate is not perfect sometimes

Excuse me, you had a mistake..you set the word "Asetto" instead of "Assetto" with 2 s. :)

Nicolas, I was able to see the images by going to "view image". I've applied all the changes except for the time one, because of the way the function is structured I don't think I can change the sentence in that way.

Remember to let me know the language you are posting. I had to work it out from the images.

Andrew made a good job, I would only suggest this two changes:

- imho, "bid" in this case is better translated by "Offri" than "Punta", in general you made "puntate" at the casino, but you made offers ("offerte") at the auction.
-
instead of "pratica", I suggest "Pre-qualifica" that is most used in races to define free practice.

... and add correction,

"Finanza" means (high) finance, finances in the sense of budget is "Finanze".

"al riformineto del motore" is wrong, "rifornimento del motore" means engine refuelling, I suggest "al prossimo approvvigionamento dei motori" o "all'approvvigionamento dei motori".

Edit:
Thinking about free practice I think I have found my best translation of Practice... Not pratica nor pre-qualifica, but "Prove Libere" :)

i agree about everything.
"Pratica" is closer to the translation from english, but "Prove Libere" is the real name of that session

Just uploaded major revisions to the Portuguese (Brazilian) translation. Huge thanks to Nicolas Gonzalez for those!

For Portuguese (Brazilian) I think it should sound better this quotes in strategy tab:

"My preferred strategy would be to pit 2 times." -> "Minha estratégia preferida seria parar 2 vezes."
"Pitting 2 times seems like a good idea to me." -> "Parar 2 vezes parece ser uma boa ideia para mim."
"My engineer has suggested making 2 pit stop(s)." -> "Meu engenheiro sugeriu fazer 2 paradas nos boxes."
"I'd like to use a 2 pit stop strategy." -> "Eu gostaria de usar uma estratégia de 2 paradas nos boxes."

For setup tab I found a wrong phrase:
"Se corremos em um clima semelhante na corrida a nossa configuração será melhor." -> "Se corrermos em um clima semelhante ao da corrida então a nossa configuração será melhor."

Edit: Could you use km/h instead of QPH? please!

Thanks for all improvements Jack!
Gustavo.

Italian:
Jack, you might want one single thread per language, it's becoming difficult to follow.
There are several errors, most pointed out by Andrew,

Recluta (that is mostly used as newcomer in the army) should become "Principiante" that roughly translates to beginner

On the preparation level for a race: "Molto scarso" should be "Molto basso"

On the car stats: "Frenatura" is wrong, should be "Frenata"
Again on car stats, the use of "Risparmio" is good and correct but it gets too long and you miss the rest, I would use "Risp." tnat along with "Carburante" and "Pneumatici" is well understood.
So "Risp. carburante" and "Risp. pneumatici"

Again on car stats: typo on "Manegevolezza", it needs double G, that is "Maneggevolezza" (2 occurencies i've seen)

Car stats: On "Editor della livrea" Editor is not an italian word, we'd just use: "Modifica livrea"

On car repairs: "Condizioni del Motore", Motore should be lower case, "Condizioni del motore"

On drivers: "Messa a fuoco" should be "Concentrazione" and replace all occurencies of "Stamina" with "Resistenza"

"La salute si rigenera del + 5% ogni ora" sounds better as: "La salute migliora del 5% ogni ora"
