i cant acess races at all so kinda sucks

There's a thread specifically designed to help you with this over on the beta forum:
http://beta.igpmanager.com/forum-thread/38

Are you using a browser version that is listed? You ideally need to be on the very latest version of Chrome, Firefox, IE or Edge.

What are your hardware specs? Without any of this information we can't do anything to help.

We've had some people say it doesn't work only to find out they are on Windows XP... even Microsoft don't support that OS anymore. It's 15 years old. That's like trying to install a game from the year 2000 on a computer from 1985.

i'm using chrome latest version and cant access it i also installed fiefox as it suggested and still nothing

That's why your hardware specs are important to know and share as it might give insight.

the problem is with the new one it turns out there's now a whole load of crap i need to do just to join races and i know nothing what so ever when comes to all that sort of stuff on the old game was extremly simple to join race .... i shall simply stop playing the game when the new version has taken over which is a shame as i subscribed to this game cos enjoyed it.

Chances are if you are using an old computer like myself images in beta will be blurry like the top driver in this image. That is not the fault of the game, it's an old graphics card/driver that is blacklisted by the browser.

The bottom driver is a browser that does not care what graphics you have on your system. To think everyone complains Microsoft Browsers are useless, seems not anymore :P

So, after a little while playing the new format I'm still unsure about it. My biggest issue is still based around the viewing of the race itself. As it stands at the moment I can't view the races on the current game either (its a java thing, but that's neither here or there), but being able to set a strategy including push levels etc make it possible to be slightly competitive without attending. The lack of control in the new game is making this (or at least it feels like it is) unlikely. So, assuming that not everyone will be able to attend all races, is there a way to incorporate some push level controls into the new game? In a perfect world I'd like to be able to specify laps to push on, laps to back off on, or target lap times at various points throughout the race.

As an aside, I really dislike the ideal setup button! With so few choices in the set up menu anyway, I really don't see the point of it

So far I like the old one, because I can't get the beta to ever load a live race - says I need a WebGL compatible browser, and to use firefox, which i use. I can't find any troubleshooting tips on getting it to work.

got to about:support in Firefox look at the Important Modified Preferences list middle of the page and see if webgl.disabled is true or false

If chrome go to chrome://gpu check Graphics Feature Status at top of the page webgl has to be Hardware accelerated in order for it to work

Looks like I'm in business - WebGL.Force-enabled in about:config was the fix for me. Thanks so much James

edit: haven't tried a race yet, but I was able to use that WebGL grass link in another post

Nice!
Darren Price posted this address for trying to connect. I have been using it a lot when there are no races running
https://beta.igpmanager.com/race/live.php?id=1 Use that address to cache the viewer, it should come up with Race finished after it has completed loading.

Now that I was able to finally attend a beta race, my only comments about the live race are

- that you have to switchg screens go to stuff like chat, change fuelling, etc. I know there are quick keys, but wioth the current setup you get it all one one screen and don't have to take your eyes off the race. Having to change views to chat is noti ideal.
- I saw no display of fuel used per lap like the current setup, making it hard to calculate and adjust the next stint ahead of time
- The timing display - while i like being able to switch and see best stints, etc, I miss the full display we see now with the best lap and intervals on the same screen.

The change in tires and push levels will just take time to figure out - I didn't think SS would blaze up on low push at Monza lol

All headers of the timing display are clickable allowing you to change what is being displayed. There's quite a range of data behind which should allow you to display exactly what you want. :)

Blunion - ya my memory forgot that the SS blaze on Monza in the current game. Been a few weeks since I'd raced that track on the old version.

Tjerk - I couldn't get it to look like the current setup. I'll have to try again tomorrow

I can only help as much as the feedback helps us. Not at all, in this case. Some specifics would be nice.
