Engine tokens

Hello MD,

On 01 March you became a manufacturer and received 10 tokens. Now the 10 tokens you received and the 10 tokens you should have lost when you became a manufacturer have been deducted. Everything is correct.

When you became a manufacturer, instead of losing 10 tokens, you received them. Now you have been deducted the 10 tokens you were given by mistake and the 10 tokens you should have lost at the time.

Same problem here but twice!!! 

I didn’t received any token when I became a manufacturer and now I “lost” 40 of these

Thanks a lot for your feedback. Don’t you find unfair for those who correctly paid the price?

We have a database record of everyone who received +10 tokens, some received it twice, meaning you would have received +20 Tokens when becoming an engine manufacturer.

We do understand the frustration and people saying they made decisions expecting to have tokens, but the reality is anyone affected by this had the ability to make decisions others couldn't also, by receiving +10 tokens instead of having them deducted (leaving them with +20 more than those who had them deducted each time this occurred).

If it was anything other than tokens or about stats in the game obviously everyone would welcome correcting an error, but not with Tokens. We also realise it will be confusing coming so far after the update. The reason is it was only discovered this week. We can export anyone's full token history if they want to see the transactions in context and dispute them or if they think the incorrect amount has been deducted.

The only case which left me genuinely confused was the one who said they aren't an engine manufacturer. We will look at these on a case by case basis and assist where necessary.

A more community-friendly way of conducting this may have been to benefit all those who did not 'receive' 20 free tokens, by just giving 20 tokens to all but the 652 managers, to ensure that there is no unfair play and provide equal opportunities to all.

Please can I have the FULL token history as promised by Jack above and not the two lines of manual typing that others have received when requesting this.  


The way this has been handled is appalling.  

1. an email or notification should have been sent to everyone in advance of taking back these tokens.  
2.  Reading through all the posts here it is clear numerous errors have been made bringing into the question of the accuracy of the whole operation.  
3. Those 600+ accounts are probably the majority funding this game (several will have other accounts as well). and now as a result of a poorly thought out and communicated exercise I’m sure the majority won’t spend again.  You really need to rethink what you have done here.
