Hi Jack,

Just qurying new dynamics;
League race just complete Id 70017306

Mail from CD no DP awarded from research but reduced driver attributes;
Diver #1 Attacking -0.36
Driver #2 Defending -0.36

Is this correct? Doing well in races reduced driver atributes along with the 10% atrophy at end of every season? Im my estimation, unless you pay tokens to heal, you will never have a full lvl 30[100%] driver again.

Also, with no DP awarded, does this mean no more spying/research

Hope i have the correct end of the stick here.

I believe the design issues are fixed now. The issues were created by the new multi-league car design configuration clashing with legacy leagues / old teams whose designs were not assigned to a league. Keep me posted on design/research tomorrow.

Maybe there's been a misunderstanding. I'll try this question: if a level 25 (xp) manager has the technology building at level 25 (DRS), and another level 35 (xp) manager has the building at level 30, which of the two will have the more effective DRS?

The difference now lies in the fact that level 20 managers no longer have a level cap for their buildings. A level 20 manager could have level 40 buildings, while a level 40 manager could still have level 20 buildings. In that case the level 20 manager would be stronger.

Lvr is correct. Aldo, I think you've misunderstood, the HQ buildings are still relative to the manager level, but the act of keeping everything upgraded to 5-stars is what determines performance level, essentially.

Ah okay. But my buildings are on par with my XP level and they’re not at 5 stars. They’re showing only 3 stars and on my other account I am level 24 and could start an upgrade for a building in the HQ to level 25. This is what confused me.
(Sorry if I keep switching between my accounts)

have you maybe overlooked my message? The way you describe the situation it seems like if I’m a level 24 manager and my buildings are at level 24, then I should have 5 stars. But it’s not the case. My buildings are level 24 and have 3 stars and I could start the upgrade of a building to level 25 although I’m level 24.

Just want to understand it fully.

League editing is now open, along with points system modification, co-hosting etc. League creation will remain under maintenance while other matters are resolved.

Hi Jack, while league editing was under maintenance we had our last race of the season yesterday. For some reason this made it so our next season is only 11 races long and doesn't occur on the days we selected. It did however consume the 10 boost we used to get to gold rank. Is there a way this can be fixed? Our cars have also been completely reset to 1

I have a question.

I noticed my young drivers (got them from youth academy) are asking for a huge salary increase upon renewal. From 500k to 1.3m. Before the update, my other driver only asked for 500k -> 550k.

I have noticed the opposite effect on staff from from transfer market, they are asking for salary decrease on renewal 1.2m -> 900k.

Is that supposed to happen?

I had a current driver go from 700k (or thereabouts) to 1.3million in one contract renewal. I was wondering the same thing.

LOGOUT FIX
A fix has just been applied for being logged out after returning from 3D scenes (e.g. race viewer, character editor). One of our developers tested it and reported remaining logged in, so hopefully it's resolved.

EDIT: Ironically, it requires a cache clear to get the fix, so you might see it once more to get the fix, then not again after that.

DESIGN POINTS
This is another critical one: to everyone saying they didn't receive design points since yesterday, we've migrated this to the Headquarters page. You have to manually collect them now (this prevents farming and inactive accounts hoarding resources). During all the chaos of the rollout though we had to disable the notifications for this, and so it became effectively "hidden".

I've added a notification to the menu now and will work to restore the mobile app notification to collect resources soon. It should all be much clearer today.

WebGL / Browser Race Viewer
A new version has been uploaded, please try spectating a race and let us know if it works. For our developers, it is now working. If so, anyone who manages their race from the browser should be able to again. I've confirmed it's working on my browser too.

2X 3D TOP VIEW ZOOM
After discussing this internally, in the next app update we will be offering 2x zoom out in 3D top view. This will make it easier for those used to 2D to race in 3D. Expect this in a release within ~ 7 days.

The career counter is now working, but the account level remains the same. I hope it can be fixed soon.

It’s a shame for those who registered on the last day; they were left unable to keep playing because the account level wouldn’t increase.

We don't need 2D players to be able to adapt more easily to 3D; that can be secondary. What we need is for 2D to work properly; currently, it's unplayable. Between lag and data loss, there's more of a disadvantage compared to someone playing 3D than there is between a level 1 player and a level 40 player.

When i train my pit crew, 1x uses 10 health wich I exepected.

But when I train drivers, 1x uses 11 health.

Shouldn't it use 10 health too?

More fixes:

Sprint races should gain Level XP, Prize Money and Parts now

Race counts should increment in sprint races but this still looks to be having issues - please keep me posted

Driver atrophy in League races has been removed - this was an older experiment/alternative to season atrophy which went live by accident. It won't be returning.

I've also added voting to the Community page for iGP league rules.
