Just given me 3 parts on 1 account and no parts on 2 other accounts using Samsung S7 Android 7.0

I rebooted phone each time, still nothing except an unresponsive blur bar. Come on, surely you guys should have fixed this problem by now! Seems to me it's an Android problem from reading what other people have posted. This worked fine until you updated the game last week.

Just to follow up, I have updated to the latest android build update, wiped cache partition, deleted App cache and still nothing has changed. Please can you guys credit the 4 accounts being used with a sufficient amount of parts as simply we cannot use it.

We only have three full-time developers (including me) and we're extremely busy right now finishing an update, and various other administrative tasks in my case. With just three guys addressing half a million players you can probably imagine it gets tough to keep up. I've been made aware of probably 100 situations of similar severity to investigate currently. Sometimes the best we can do is have Yunus talk to you about it, so that when I do get on to it I can address it quickly.

That said... I think this one will be fixed later today, because....

I am with the same problem. I watch one or two ads and after that the blue bar doesnt work anymore for a while. After some time I can watch one or two more ads and it stops working again.

Now it all makes sense. Because of this post, I think I know why this is happening. There is a check for how many adverts you have watched in the past 24 hours, rather than on the current date. So, in the case of anybody claiming they "can't" get 10 parts like everyone else, actually they can, but they only get access to another view in bursts across the day.

All I will need to do is change the way it checks to be date-based instead of timing out over 24 hours to resolve the issue. In other words, I think there was no such bug that you could only get 2-3 parts, but there was a scattered series of ad views over the previous 24 hours which meant you'd keep capping out at 10 views within 24hrs every time you viewed 2-3 videos. By making it date-based you'll be guaranteed access to 10 views every night at midnight.

Please try now, it might be fixed. I've changed it to work the way described. Bear in mind, it will deduct all your ad views done within the current day in your timezone from 10. So if you had viewed 4 already earlier today you'll only get 6 now.

Thanks for looking in yo this problem Jack. Unfortunately the problem still exists. On one of my accounts it allowed me to view 3 adverts then the blue bar becomes unresponsive, although it's still available to click. I logged out, rebooted phone and logged in with my 2nd account and although yhe blue bar is available, it is unresponsive. Did the same process and tried with all 4 accounts and it will not give any further adverts.

Up until you last edited the game, I could always watch 10 videos in a row, now however it's sporadic (scattered as you say) however it seems that it is not recognising the switching of accounts because if it did then using your theory if one of my accounts have not been accessed for 4 or 5hrs you would think that it would allow that account to watch 2 or 3 videos.

So hire more staff then and add a caveat so we know when we purchase coins any chance of an issue being resolved is close to zero.

Try waiting one more day to really confirm if the problem persists.

Just tried on an account that recieved 3 parts 4hrs ago and it gave 2 more parts. Tried it immediately afterwards on another account that recieved 2 parts 6hrs ago and it would not give any parts even though the blue bar is highlighted.

I did a poll in the league that I host and 8 people with androids said that they are not getting the 10 parts, however 7 android users said that they did (whether they get the actual 10 is another question) but I spoke with another member and he is also still having the same problem.

When we were doing finishing touches on the new update earlier, I suggested to the other developers that we add error messages when video ads can't play for any reason. It has been added, so please let me know after the update if you receive any error messages. It will inform of reasons they might fail, e.g. video failed to load, was interrupted during playback or there are no ads available currently.

Sarcasm detected! Anyway, I've hired as fast as I can with the resources available. It's a free game, and the races can be up to 2 hours of non-stop data streaming. Most companies providing comparable services rely heavily on constant funding from investors or crowdfunding, but we manage on a shoestring with a small team and ask for nothing. It's something we're quite proud of.

That said, we haven't grown to this size audience by being complacent. We're not settled or taking anything for granted, but our story isn't "whoops, 500k people just turned up and gave us a load of money, let's hire 100 staff". We've spent everything we had energetically, financially etc. building a free platform, a team and making people aware we exist and now the work really begins. If you feel our response to individual support requests is too slow, that's something I also want to improve, which is why a support panel is currently being built to help us manage the workload and streamline everything. It will take a while to finish though, as with everything.

I just logged in with account 1 and got 3 parts, after that blue bar was unresponsive but available - no messages to say of no videos available etc. Closed the app and reopened it after 5 mins and it then gave me another 2 parts (account 1) and again blue bar becomes unresponsive yet still available. Again no messages to say no more videos available etc.

Immediately logged in with accounts 2, 3 and 4 all have the blue bar available, yet unresponsive and no messages to say otherwise.

Basically there has been no change and it is still broken since the update that you guys did last week.

The update a few days ago didn't change anything on video ads directly. The most recent work done on that was just to uncap something which had reached capacity. If it is anything related to recent updates it's very tough to say what it might be at this stage. The next update with the livery editor is going to be the next thing we can check together. It includes new error messages for any reason a video ad can't play. It isn't released yet. It will be available within a few days. Once it's out, we'll have to try again.

I am also having problems watching ads. But it is not that bad, I can watch enough ads and get enough parts to repair my cars. Obviously it is not ideal having to wait a few hours just to watch 1 or 2 more. But it is ok. As you said this is a free game, I think that what you are doing with a small team with few resources is already admirable.
I think that we should just wait for the next update and give the developers time to solve this issue.

Luis, are you just running 1 account? I have 2 accounts and my gf also has 2 accounts. Once we get between 1-3 parts for on3 account, it will not allow any other account to receive any parts. It seems that it is not recognising different accounts on the same device.

Yes, I only have one. Ok, I understand. I didn't know that you were using more than one account. In that case it is clearly worse.
And it is a bit strange that there arent more people posting about the same error, we cant be the only ones.

2 of the accounts have not received any parts for more than 24hrs already. Definitely seems to be a problem with the game not recognising a different account request when trying to watch a video as well as the usual 1-3 parts being given.

I will try what you have suggested and not try to watch any videos on any of the 4 accounts and see what happens.

I have 2 accounts and I never watched ads from my 2nd acc(this acc). I was having problems with ads on the 1st and still having them now, so I logged in to this account and tried watching ads and I was only able to watch 1. I have not watched ad for almost 24 hrs now on both accounts(also didn't watch any ad for the day) and will wait till the day end today and will try tomorrow and post what happened here.

Nope its not letting me watch a single ad now. I waited more than 24 hrs from when I watched last ad. And also the 2nd day since I watched last ad(I watched last ad on Tuesday in my time zone and its Thursday now).
I know it will take time to correct this, just providing some information that might help to understand this bug.
