Guys... Our race haven't been reseted yet. What gives? It's still saying "LIVE". Check it out: http://igpmanager.com/play/?url=race-launch/112230

If it stays like it is, we are going to have problems once again today.

Sorry this all is absolutely nonprofessional behaviour.
Not only, that every change and update causes more frustration.
There is no crisis management. No news, nothing - snd don't tell me about facebook or twitter - who need that?
Every community project has better communication.
A lot of blabla the whole year of what will come (and does not). No more montly subsription, and and and...
As a paying member an a programmer who does customer support this is a no go.
I will no longer pay for financing someones hobby.

Good potential has been killed by nonprofessional and desatrous doing.

One possible solution for the devs: Let us all leave our leagues and stop playing iGPManager. This would give them (and us!) a nice break.

I've heard the rumor that there is a life besides IGPManager.

I can understand that the last days must have been hard for the devs. Tons of work, triggering a sheer never-ending stream of problems and dozens of unsatisfied members (who are - in some cases - "paying customers" ).
So I can understand that the devs can't fix a problem that has its roots possibly deep inside the simulator. However - our race is still frozen on lap 4 for nearly a day now and I'm reading here that other people are having the same problem for up to two days.

What bothers me is that we don't get any information (same with the postponed-postponed Q2 update). There was one tweet yesterday when the page was down and this forum post here which doesn't answer any of my questions to be honest.
Maybe it would be a better solution to shut down the whole system for an entire day so that the devs really can figure out what the problems are/were and then restart the whole manager without such issues.
And always keep in mind that those from us with a subscription are paying ~0,10€ everyday. If problems keep occuring, I highly doubt that I will renew my subscription once it rus out.

The corrections and postponements will be carried out within the coming hours, as will the awarding of thre reward points.

We explained yesterday that the bulk of the tidy-up would happen today. It was necessary for us to gather all of the IDs manually first, and this is a very tedious job. At 4am we eventually had to sleep, after working for about 48 hours with hardly any. Anyone suggesting we are giving anything less than 100% to this clearly isn't behind the scenes living it with us. Perhaps there is a communication issue, we will have to investigate this because what we did yesterday seemed adequate. The community was informed of downtime, what we were working on and when it would be back, then it came back.

I'd just put a clear status message on the Racing page for us all to see Jack, then you wouldn't get half the complaints. I'm just fed up with wasting my time hoping for my race to magically start...

I dont think guys are having a pop at the effort you guys are putting in. Just lack of clear information for people to see.

These are the main "concepts" that are thrown in the posts here when a problem arises. I mean, the lack of those things, to be more specific.

We can only deliver clear information when we have it. If people are wondering when their race will run, it will be postponed to the next available calendar slot as described in post #12.

Yeah totaly understand that. But that got mixed in with alot of other post which people wont see..

A lot of leagues they won't run at the same time in 24hrs, like weekly leagues will be 1 week later. I think that's why they said the next calendar slot.

Yeah, that's right, but some races were (re-)started later yesterday, some postponed, some froze in "Live" state. For me personally there was mass confusion because I didn't know whether my race would be restarted some time soon.
I knew you were working on the issues, but it would have been great to know if races will be restarted on the same day or rescheduled.
Regardless, I hope you can get everything up and running properly again.

Our race happened, but I have no idea when.

I logged on yesterday, saw the qualifying results, and then the downtime happened...

I believe our race ran during the downtime, and thus, managers who were planning to attend the race weren't allowed to, and push levels destroyed tyres, can we please roll this back and re-open prep?

would you rather the devs spent time replying to every liitle thing or hitting the problems with 100% focus on fixing the problem? Have you ever been in crisis mode before? Their first thought is probably not "let me write up a detailed explaination for everyone to read and then spend my time on the forum answering everyone's questions". It is more likely " what the hell went wrong? Oh that?! we can fix that in a few hours"... and then 12 hours later it is not fixed. They are stressed and tiring and not thinking clearly. The statement they were up to 4AM shows that. Honestly the communication they have presented is clear... it is that some people here are WAY too worked up over their GAME not running and they are not reading or comprehending.

Look, things will get fixed and the game will go on. Just give them some TIME to find the problem, fix it, and make the game better.
