So, it was a mix of things. Cars waiting until next pitstop and cars not waiting. This is clearly an inconsistency that should be noted!
Or maybe we pay attention to the behaviour of Advenced option 1 when we choose 0mm. I suspect that cars will always wait until next pitstop to change the tyres.
What did happen at lap 14th? Was there a change to 2.0mm?
I am Sorry , but I don’t understand in which race you asked about lap 14. In the last (Russia) at lap 14 there weren’t 2mm ,but less. I noticed that drivers wait with 0 and also 1mm in advanced 1 . While he didn’t wait with 3mm... I don’t know with 2 , 4 and 5. However i am almost sure that it worked not in this way previously... even if i prefer this Way to wait .
Is the hidden advanced the fact that a stint which isn't selected select is always taken as medium tyre?
The last stint default was changed in the leagues that have the two compounds rule activated. Is that the case in your league? I guess they can fix the hidden stint to be the last tyre selected if this stopped to be doing automatically.

No. Examples sent before are not taken by league with 2tyres rules.
Hidden advanced worked not only with M, it worked with every dry tyres... however it looks that now cannot work anymore
Hi Marcus, the fuel calculation isn't the aim of the post, but I can answer you that I would use historical data in order to get precise fuel usage in the race.
After the race if today I want stare what We understand about Advanced strategy:
1)advanced 1 before race-start
- it decides the tyre you want use when there is more water that decided
-it works always
2) advanced 1 strategy after race start
- it decides which kind of tyre you will wear at next pit stop if water reaches decided level (it works only id advanced strategy are ACTIVATED)
-it decides which kind of tyre you will wear as begins to rain (it works only if advanced stategy is DEACTIVATED or you do not make strategy )
3) advanced 2 if rains stopped before or during qualify and there is water on track.
-if there are 0 laps, driver wear this tyre during qualify , otherwise not.
4)!advanced 2 rain stops on grid:
It decides tyre to wear after decided number of laps ONLY if it is different from tyre on grid.
If you decided 0 laps, he will pit at lap 1.
If you decided a number of laps that is more that laps gor first pit stop programmato, advanced 2 stops to work.
5) advanced 2 rain stops during race:
It decides tyre to wear after decided number of laps only if it is different from tyre you already have.
If you do a pit stop before, advanced 2 stops to work
6)Hidden advanced
It works only in this way:
Rains stop and water arrived to 0mm.
You are wearing W or I tyre.
In your basic strategy , the next stint is set for wearing a different tyre .
Your driver anticipate strategy for wearing the tyre set.
These informations are understood only trying and discussing with other players, so it is possible that there are some different situations never checked. I
I hope that they can help players to understand better advanced strategy.
I had this unexpected behaviour playing offline.
Before lap 19 everything went as expected. The race started as dry, then it rained and at lap 19 it was dry again.
As you can see there have been different strategies after lap 19 despite I set the same strategy for both drivers. It was I above 0mm, Soft after 0 laps when it stops.
I don't understand why my drivers had a difference of 4 laps. The rain should be the same for both...
after some races with crazy weather race... it looks that advanced strategy in offline are working a bit different then before... expecially advanced 2 (while advanced 1 is still the same). are you changing something?
