FRANKLIN F1 SECURE DOUBLE CHAMPIONSHIP
_________________________________________
After a competitive season, seeing the to and fro between many different teams, Franklin F1 have come out on top for the second time, securing both World Championships.
"I'm so happy, and so is the whole team. We've pushed really hard, and I think this one means even more than the first now that we are a privateer team, and fully responsible for all of the successes this season, and although we don't know which of our drivers will be crowned Champion yet, we are sure to give both our full support and make it a fantastic race, ending in a huge celebration!"
Historically, both Onishi and Davies have been very fast compared to their team mates in the past. We saw time after time, Jamie Davies dominating Santiago in Abu Dhabi, and Ryota Onishi was able to do the same against her, and against the highly anticipated Sabine Oosterhout. Davies goes into the race with the obvious advantage of being 12 points ahead of Onishi, but a win for Onishi and a 4th or lower would result in the Japanese driver's first Championship.
"I'm really excited for Abu Dhabi. It's not the best track on the calendar, but I know both I and Jamie do enjoy driving it, which might be why we are usually better here than our respective team mates. I'm coming into the race full of motivation and momentum after my win in Brazil, and I will do everything I can to win. I will settle for nothing less,"
Davies had similar opinions in the press conference:
"Ryota has pretty much said it all. All I need to say is that I won the title here back in season 5, and so the track holds some great moments for me. I couldn't best Ryota in Brazil, and that was probably due to my qualifying, otherwise I would have been closer, as our race pace was very similar. So I'm going all out as well this race, and I'm sure it will be an explosive battle, and I'm sure the fans will enjoy it. May the best man win!"

RELENTLESS-RUSTEZE UPDATE
___________________________
After a successful second-half of the championship, Rusteze and Relentless decided to go full time for current season, hoping to great things.
"After the disappointment of last season, a few things were changed in sponsors and team personel and we are sure we took the right decisions and we are prepared more than ever for the new season. Team has been working flat last season to prepare a good car for the forthcoming season and we believe we managed a great one. Everyone in the team is prepared for the start of the new season and we are so proud to compete in what we believe to be the best league out there. This season, our Junior team, now partnered with Dinoco, will be joining us and we couldn't be more proud, as it marks a great achievement for the team", Costrasuc, Rusteze's team manager, had to say earlier today, in a press conference.
Rusteze is proud to reveal team's new livery and team logo (can't thank Nick enough) for current season:

This definitely needs updating :P
________________________
After eleven races of the current season of Formula One, we have seen Franklin F1 dominate, by taking ten out of the eleven wins so far. The only time that any team has been close to dominating a season quite like this was some 9 seasons ago, when Relentless Rusteze (then known only as Rusteze) won twelve out of the seventeen races on the calendar. The only race that Franklin F1 has failed to succeed in was the Spanish Grand Prix, where Ryota Onishi was only 0.137 seconds from taking that victory as well.
In fact, with the current standings as they are, the only team that is still in contention to win the Constructor's title, is Jamie Franklin's junior team - Franklin Junior. However, for this team to win the title, they would have to finish 1-2 in every race from now until the end of the season with Franklin F1 only taking a maximum of five points, which is quite unlikely given the two team's performances so far.
"I've been very pleased with the team's performance this year, it's been absolutely outstanding. The drivers have really pushed their ability to the maximum this season and it's great to see. Not only that, but the designers and engineers have also built a superb car, which has been nigh unbeatable so far. Of course, this is not necessarily been the case for the whole season, otherwise we would have finished 1-2 at every race, and then we'll have the rest of the season to consider, in which I'm sure other teams will be pushing us very hard for the remaining points,"
We'll have more from the drivers soon.

Driver interviews
_____________
Ryota Onishi - "This has been one of the best seasons since I joined the team. I knew that I would have opportunities, when I was offered the contract, but this has been incredible. Six wins feels really good, and to be leading the Championship at this stage, especially with a team mate like Jamie, who is a two-time World Champion, and a fantastic driver,"
Jamie Davies - "Ever since I joined the team, I knew it had potential, but I think that this season, the team has finally maximised its potential, through us the drivers doing the best that we can every race, and the engineers, mechanics and designers making it all possible. I can't thank the team enough for giving us these opportunities, and I also have to say how much Ryota has improved. He's been really tough to beat this season, and I'll do my best to be as competitive as I can, and then try hard for my third title,"
It's rumoured that the car has also been updated once again for this weekend's Belgian Grand Prix, with a revised Chassis. The gains will only be seen once the car takes to the track, but it's safe to say that the team will be in the running for the win.
"We have a couple more updates coming this season, with revisions to the chassis, the underbody and some parts within the car as well. We want to ensure that we're as competitive at the end of the season, as we have been at the start. There's no time to back off or let our rivals catch up. We want to be known as the best, and the only way to do that is to keep on winning," - Herbert Golob (Chief Designer)

While Franklin F1 have been dominating one of the championships, BKR European have been dominating another one, with their tally after the Belgian GP 506 points, while Team FACE KICK are second with 231 points and ATR Nocturne in third with 226 points. BKR have won all but one of the races so far in the season, when ATR Nocturne driver Imre Bindics took victory in China.
Russian Makar Volsky took the first two wins of the season, both from pole position, only being challenged for a win in Australia and Malaysia by his BKR teammate Lewis Johnson. A wet race in China meant that Imre Bindics for ATR Nocturne took pole with his teammate David König starting second, and it was eventually Bindics who won the race with Volsky and but in Bahrain it was back to business with a BKR car winning, but it was Johnson's time to shine as he took the race win by seven seconds from teammate Volsky and half a minute to Bindics in third. Spain was again a win for Johnson after starting from pole. The Monaco win was taken by Volsky, with a disappointed ATR Nocturne team finishing third and fourth, Bindics finishing 16 seconds down in third and König 19 seconds down in 4th.
After Monaco, ATR Nocturne were determined to take another win in the season, but it was Johnson who won in Istanbul, his home race(Silverstone) and Germany. What had llooked as a good season for ATR Nocturne, looking to take the precious second place in the championship, had gone the wrong way as the best they could do was 5th with only a half decent car. Team FACE KICK then took advantage of this, and having a better car, took several 3rd places and took away 2nd place from ATR Nocturne.
Volsky took the win in Hungary, with home driver Bindics finishing 3rd yet again, knowing well it was the best result he and the team could get there. Johnson took a seventh win of the season in Belgium, with Volsky right behind him for the 11th 1-2 for BKR European this season.
Going into Italy tonight, BKR European will be wanting to get another 1-2, Team FACE KICK will be trying to get another podium and ATR Nocturne will be trying very hard to gain back points towards the championship BKR have yet to go off the podium for one race, with their worst result this season third.
