Tomorrow marks a milestone in iGP Manager's evolution. After months of development and testing, we're thrilled to announce iGP Manager 26, our most comprehensive update to date. This release fundamentally transforms how you race, manage your team, and compete in leagues, all while making the game more accessible and competitive for everyone.
This blog gives a glimpse into how comprehensive the improvements are across the whole game. Some new features will arrive and be seen for the first time tomorrow...
Wheel to Wheel Racing
The days of cars phasing through each other are over. iGP Manager 26 introduces true wheel to wheel racing with complete elimination of ghosting, so cars now battle for position in realistic on-track combat, finding genuine gaps and defending racing lines.
- Zero ghosting: cars race each other for real track position
- Strategic overtaking with genuine gaps and racecraft
- Boost recharges by +1% per lap for ongoing tactical choices, encouraging boost usage throughout the race
- Boost & DRS now activate from lap 2 onwards
- New Tyre Model - Tyre physics have been completely revised to heat with cornering G-force, cooling on straights
Overtaking now requires genuine skill and strategy. You'll need to find the right moment, the right gap, and make decisive moves, with Boost Recharge giving you more options throughout the race instead of saving everything for the final laps.
Enhanced Interfaces
Let's start with drivers. The new interface is cleaner, more intuitive, and introduces a universal percentage-based skill scale that levels the playing field across all manager levels.

Driver skills display: iGP Manager 2025 (left) vs iGP Manager 26 / 2026 (right).
- Attributes are grouped and displayed as clear percentages universally at all levels in the game
- Skills no longer decrease as you level up
- Instead, an off-season atrophy is applied when league seasons reset
A 5 star driver is now 5 stars for everyone. This creates a fair, transparent system where skill quality is immediately clear and the transfers market becomes truly global.
Advanced Setup System
Car setup has evolved into an intelligent, visual system that helps you find the perfect configuration faster.
- New slider based setup with visual ranges that narrow each lap
- Suspension converted from 3 fixed options to a 1 to 100 slider, matching other setup areas
- Lap by lap feedback guiding you toward the ideal setup window
The new system gives you clear visual cues as you gather laps and allows for easier adjustments with increased depth to the setup process.

Setup GUI: improved clarity with visual indicators, slider inputs, and more legible text.

Strategy GUI: fuel and tyre life estimates will update in realtime based on your practice lap data.
Key System Changes
Universal Driver & Staff Ratings
Drivers and staff now use a percentage based rating on a universal scale. A 90% driver is 90% for everyone. No more level based relativity, so a low level manager can fairly compete with a high level manager based on training, facilities, and strategy rather than hard level caps. Drivers and staff will also be scaled up free of charge into the new system at launch, unlike past updates. When iGP Manager 26 goes live, all existing drivers and staff are automatically converted: First, their skills are scaled from your old level cap onto the new universal cap, then, a one-time 10% reduction is applied to every trainable attribute. From that point onwards, atrophy will only apply between seasons.
In practice: the transfers market is now global, prices scale relative to your level, and star ratings make it obvious who is truly elite at a glance.
Boost & DRS: Star Based Power
Boost and DRS power are now based on star ratings instead of raw levels. This makes their strength easier to understand and keeps them balanced across all manager levels, fitting naturally into the new universal rating system.
Reimagined League System
Leagues now live in a single unified structure, with managers grouped by skill (Level XP first, Reputation second) for fair matchmaking and competitive grids.
Tiers still exist, not as league divisions. Instead, they represent your level of access to leagues:
- Rookie (Tier 1): Access to iGP auto leagues after completing tutorial races
- Pro (Tier 2): Can join hosted leagues (unlocked at Level 6)
- Elite (Tier 3): Can create and host leagues (unlocked at Level 20)
- VIP (Tier 4): Multiple league participation, premium tools, AI driver chat and more
New Sprint Race System
Sprint races now run on a queued system with races spawning every 10 minutes. You join a queue, are matched by skill, and drop straight into a race at predictable times, while the classic lobby style remains available for private lobbies with friends. More info is available in the forum.
This makes sprints easier to schedule, faster to join and more consistently competitive.
Daily Donuts: New Rewards
Daily Donuts are a new reward you can claim alongside your existing daily rewards, offering extra resources and bonuses for logging in and staying active.
VIP Subscription
For dedicated managers, the updated VIP subscription unlocks a premium layer of features:
- Multiple League Participation: Race in up to 3 leagues at once
- Sponsor Tokens per Race: Earn tokens from each league race, not just once per day
- AI Driver Chat: Talk to your drivers about recent races and strategy
- Free League Boost: 1 free boost per month added to your inventory
- Advanced Analytics & VIP Leagues: Deeper data and exclusive league options

Some aspects of the update are pay to win, I'm not feeling that.
Revert all this crap immediately. Nothing works and now we must pay to play.
I cant race coz I cant see the track and my car please fix this ASAP
Como matar um jogo em UMA ATUALIZAÇÃO, Parabéns Jack Basford.
O jogo tava rastejando e você jogou pedra pra matar.
HAY ALGUN MOTIVO POR LOQUE NO ME DAN PUNTOS DE DISEÑO EN UNO DE MIS EQUIPOS ???? SI ME LO PODEIS ACLARAR OS LO AGRADECERE ANTES DE METERLE DINERO A ESTA CUENTA. GRACIAS
How do I change the number of pit stops?
I can only add them, not remuve them.
Furthermore, yesterday's race was completely flowed because I couldn't access it. Why not test things before releasing them?
Way to kill the game, Jack. What's the point of having beta testers, if you ignore the issues they bring up?
Non mi mette gli aggiornamenti di sviluppo dopo la gara
