After a lots of game played that's my final suggestion to re-balance the game.

That's for the 75% the format I learned. Then make your calculations for the other formats.

Reduce tyre wear for M and H by 0,5%. Example pass from 6% to 5,5% it will be enough to give one lap extra to give more strategies.

Increase the S pace.

Review the tyre wear in Spain and Mexico as they are not balanced with the laps to go.

Review all the push levels as we can't play PL5 all the time at cold temperatures and the drop should not more than one push level to avoid embarrassing seconds of undercut

Today racing in Hungary, 10 ° C and the SS and S tires did not heat up even with the maximum push level.
Not a big update what you have done...

It’s a characteristic of Hungary, has nothing to do with the update. I also raced there few mins btw, and tyres were fine for me.

Wait... Winter is coming. It will not be a characteristic of Hungary only. USA, Spain, France, Turkey, China, Japan and Messico and others are literally unplayable at 5°C or more. After 60% of tyre it requires 2 PL over.
Anyway I agree with Maurizio. I don't like this update. If you pit one lap later you take 5s undercut and you are out of the race without DRS train. There is no chance to make a stint differently

How is it unplayable at 5C? Simply adapt. You obviously don't expect the same strategies to work now do you?

The game was updated, update your game play.

Just want to avoid pitting 5/6 times on SS. Just my opinion mate: that's the aim of this forum I think

Run yesterday at Belgium. I tried to make ONE LAP MORE on second stint =  out of DRS train at pit exit by 3s, boosted 20% to regain the group = OUT OF THE RACE. Just because I did not the strategy of the group. I think it's too much brutal this kind of cliff

I would suggest that Belgium is at the extreme end of that scale though, it’s a very long lap and the wear per lap is significant, so you aren’t wrong, going one lap too far there is going to hurt.

However on Tracks with low wear/shorter laps, I find it’s much more possible to have a wider window to pit in since the tweak.

After my experience, i noticed that for 100% the difference si very low.
With 75% ss looks unuseful except in some circuits and when there are few degree. In a lot of circuit there is only 1 best strategy with only 1 lap.of difference.
With 50% ss are unuseful (except)
With 25% ss are ridicolouss but H are more redicolouss : you can make 1 more lap than M but you are too low ...

The solution could be take off the coefficient of correction of tyre wear according to lenght of the race.
25% and 50% can be almost like the quick race of real f1.

There is also another solution: forget  the old gameplay and run like f1 : open your mind and try to do better than Binotto ?

now undercut is too powerful... if you pit in the wrong laps you will loose 5 seconds and the race. and this is no good

Absolutely agree guys. I want to add that the Mediums in No-Refuel mode are too powerful. Same pace of Softs and they last 2/3 laps more at 75%. You can start with S and put M without taking any risk... Because after 65% or more of the tyre you start to lose performance... literally after 3/4 laps. Too short to make some difference. So...
As I have suggested one or two weeks ago they should review the tyre wear for compound (0,5% is just something, 1% would give us more interpretation instead. In Mexico and Spain the wears are completely wrong to me. Mexico has the same laps of Brazil but an aggressive tyre wear for example) to make something different: more are the lape before the 50% of the tyre, the less is the undercut. Another point is to increase Soft pace: as they increased SS pace they should make the same thing for S. If SS are for example quicker by 1s than before, 0,5s for Soft would be very good.

today race, Australia 7°C. S are better then SS, M are better the S. You don't work very well in my opinion...

Hungary has always been this way. This is the update deal with it. Everybody needs to find a new tyres management.

After update , it looks that S works like Ss before the update and M works like S before the update.
New ss are unuseful except for 100% and for Monaco and Hungary
New H unusefull... always... so Now there are less strategy than before...

I think that tyres are balanced by a simple formula that doesn't consider the extra fuel you can have with harder tyres. It doesn't matter what changes are made, the strategy with softest tyres possible will be always the fastest one. What prevents it from being the one with current supersoft is the higher wear which is the biggest gap if you compare soft-medium and medium-hard.

I would make more important the role of tyre supplier. For example Michigan's soft are faster on that track while Donelots' medium have less tyre wear, etc...
but now I'm going offtopic.

Now are some races that I am noticing that Mediums are faster than Softs in no-refuel mode and they even last longer. I saw that in Germany and Austria. Is it possible have a little buff on the Softs please? Some feedbacks back from the staff of the game about it will be also appreciated thanks...

It is difficult to find a tyre set that suits both the refuel mode and no refuel mode. Saying that, I don’t believe fresh M are ever faster than fresh S, it might seem this way if your league has a big disparity between the faster cars as other cars.

Reducing fuel load will often be a factor.  In most no refuelling leagues managers tend to use meds after they ran softs So they will appear faster when it is really just a reflection of carrying less fuel.

Yes, it’s true they last longer. It isn’t true that fresh M vs fresh S (with the same car, driver, fuel load and PL) are faster. I can guarantee you this.

Yes but the fact is that Softs reach very fast the 65%. In Germany 75% after 6 laps they are under 65 and if you had not make the difference you will be overpassed from the M fest. Mediums are the overused now because they last longer and they don't actually suffer the S pace. So you can start with a softer compound and put Mediums without problems

Hello again,

That isn’t what you said in the first statement! Glad to see your correction. Indeed some tyres and strategies are better suited in different tracks. Just need to see the winner strategy at Monaco or Belgium in your league to see that S were the best option. Then H in Bahrain and Italy were a good option and M in Austria.

Indeed some tweaks could be done in the future, I’m still collecting data to improve the current balance but I can guarantee you that the reality isn’t what you described in your first comment.

Thanks for your opinion!

Thanks for your replies José. Just wanted to clarify my both comments.

In some tracks I noticed that S are not so faster than M. I saw that in Germany and in Austria. In Germany I raced on the other day with another account. My opponents pitted at 7th and 8th but I pitted on 8th and 9th on SS. The differences between our cars were at minimum since it was last race of the season. I went on S instead of my opponents with M. I didn't not find a real difference on performance since I pitted even one lap later but it can be only my impression as you say. I also tried to boost to escape from the pack but I couldn't. After 6 laps my opponents were faster than me. I saw that even in Austria. My conclusion is that the difference between SS and S is more evident than the one between S and M. So in a lot of cases the choice to put Mediums is the simpler to play, apart the first stint obviously

That was only to clarify and I hope it can be helpful for your future of balances work
