Today I'm happy to announce the simulation / races side of the service is finally stable. It's been a long week addressing all the issues, but it will be worth it. Thanks everyone for your patience and understanding once more, I know this was no fun for you on the front-end too.

The "My leagues" page is now available also.

I will be doing one more simulator update within 24hrs to improve race starts and cornering physics once more. This should get all the cars moving off the line in a more realistic manner and even smoother cornering in the race. After that, fully back to web updates and patches until New Year.

One issue I have raised as a priority with our Unity developers is to get 2D aligned properly with the car positions and telemetry, as there seems to be an offset.

January will be all about new features, 2026 is going to be a blast. In January, we will be focusing a lot of energy on getting 2D polished as well. Thanks to all who stuck it out this week.

New race start code is live now

This should produce much smoother race starts. It has been tested on Italy more than other tracks. Let us know how it goes for you.

Every silver lining has a cloud. We've identified an issue with Azerbaijan specifically, races running on that track at midnight UTC have not completed. Rapidly deploying a fix but these races from midnight will be skipped.

Jack, please help, got a problem in the race of my league few minutes ago.

Car was entering pit and not changing tires, i was trying to pit since lap 5, on lap 17 I got out of the race. I'll try to upload the videos.

Just as everything was stable, it looks like the last commit has introduced a bug. I will revert back to the previous version with immediate effect.

Even if race starts were ugly, it worked once it was running. The good news is I should be able to debug this quickly before tomorrow and come back with a fix.

The game is broken. Today in Canada, I entered the pits first, and when I came out, the car that entered behind me was 5 seconds ahead of me. It's a disaster. This makes me not want to play anymore.

I'm about to catch up on other fixes. Everything can move at a healthier pace now and be reviewed. The fixes in the first week were rushed by nature of being needed urgently, and so many of them. Now the fixes needed are gradually becoming fewer, and so we can focus on quality of fixes instead of quantity.

The update is just 13 days old, with many distractions at this time of year not helping. I am not satisfied with how much there was to do after the rollout, but still confident in the state of the update going into January. Another few days of fixes before New Year, then we move to the new features.

Okay, so based on everything I have in front of me, it does look like we can iron out the remaining stability issues today and move into the new year putting this week behind us.

Today I will also be looking to improve the car physics on some tracks where they are going too quickly around very small twisty bends. This looks like the last remaining issue with the physics, and I know why this is happening.

Soon after new year I will start marketing the update, which will have a significant impact on activity levels. We won't just be relying on organic traffic anymore, and you should notice things start to pick up a lot with activity around the game when this happens.

Major fixes today:


  • New circuits - all circuits have been re-generated with fresh data and cornering should be smoother than even the last patch. Azerbaijan and Abu Dhabi issues are hopefully resolved by this (nothing showed up in my tests) but I will keep monitoring reports.

  • New race start system live - much smoother race starts, greater stability of car positions relative to each other

  • League joining - the issue where legacy leagues which were split were not letting new teams join should be fixed now

  • Research not being awarded - this should be fixed now but I will monitor reports

  • League banners and logos fixed - all previously uploaded banners and logos should now be rendering on the league page

  • Also FYI iOS Facebook login issues were fixed in the most recent patch, so update if you are on iOS

The same thing just happened in our league, where a driver was stuck on old supersofts, and was doing 2:30 lap times at Abu Dhabi.

  1. Cars braking on the straight - I think I know why this happens, it's trying to stop into its grid slot basically, because it hasn't properly detached from it in the simulator. This is why it keeps happening right before the start/finish line.

  2. Cars doing weird stuff in the pits - this looks related to how wrap points at the start/finish line are handled

  3. An isolated report of one race where cars couldn't race side-by-side, only in a train. I have a suspicion this is related to code which tries to force the cars not to go side by side in the pit lane or in ghost mode, it likely forced the cars to remain stuck on the middle of the road if for some reason they became stuck in ghost mode in that race.

I understand your frustration completely, it's totally unacceptable to be dealing with issues like this after 2 weeks. If I look at day 1 vs today though the improvements everywhere are visible already. We will get there. I'm not going to stop until we're adding new features and all enjoying the game again.

I've just applied a simulator update which should come online from 00:30 UTC or for sprint races from now attempting to fix the 3 issues above.
