Congratulations on telling the players the update it live, you could have sent a mail out to everyone, or even sent an email to the managers that quit and said look new updates jump back in! ?? This is why the game will fail. Very bad management. What's new apart from extra levels? I genuinely don't know.. wheres the explaination about BMI I've just noticed on my dirver ? The Devs are like my driver, talking of which wen will mine be assigned !. No special ability.

Mate, you have to cut them some slack. From what I know it's just the two of them working on this. Or an extremely small team. Yeah, we all could have been told, but I think they are insanely busy and overworked with rolling out this new update, bugfixing etc. Some things will be forgotten and others will be prioritised.

So as the results of the update I'm the only lvl 20 to fight for the championship in my league. My drivers are downgraded to 4 stars including my 3 time champion. None of my drivers has special ability and the favorite track is total nonsense.
Don't know what to say now...

I bulid my team for years, just started to be on a competitive and winning, now I've been rolled back. Somehow I don't feel it fair.

I agree with the lol about price and you actually haven’t lost anything. You are still level 20 compared to the others as they have been that level for a lot longer than you ( I remember you when you was a level 16 when I was a 20 in F1 UK) and gained the necessary xp to achieve level 21. It might seem unfair, but what would say if it was the other way round? You can’t go up in level until you have earned the right level of xp.

I guess that was a long time ago. What was your team then?

Respectfully, that's quite debatable, seeing as this game is on a social platform, thus it's main accessory is communication to the community ! ?

But whatever... it's a game, and of course none of us are perfect, so having some level of understanding is welcome.

I would however point in the general direction, that they are emphasizing more a pay to win method and possibly creating a larger gap between rookie and elite status... should we be surprised ? ?

Hold off before spending your money, and if we demand proper adjustments then they will listen... but if you all go out dropping $$$ like there's no tomorrow then what can I say ?? ... es la Vida loca ! ?

some of your questions could be answered just by playing the game. i will also explain the stuff ive learnt For example pre existing drivers you already have will not have a special ability. you can go to the driver edit screen to buy a special ability and rarity with tokens. the devs have also generated a load of drivers onto the transfer market, some with special abilities. drivers from your youth academy have the chance to have a special ability and rarity. For BMI the simple premise is red = bad, orange = ok and green = good. experimentation may have to be done to see if having a perfect BMI is better than just having it in the green but that is up to us. for custom engines you earn points to improve your stats by doing races, using tokens and watching ads (if thats still a thing). you can use this to upgrade the stats. you can supply to other teams as well. i think as you level up you can supply to more teams (although im not sure about this). you can edit engine weaknesses. to me custom engines dont seem worth it until level 30 as you have a weakness in one of the main 4 attributes. you can edit engine strengths for every track. ( i am not 100% sure about the engine stuff but really you should be exploring the update instead of complaining here, no game tells you what to do all the time)

I've explored the engine thing but it's broken, and for drivers we were told they would be assigned a special ability, second broken thing. I'm not buying a driver from the market because the wages would be super high that's why I bought and trained my driver.ive used token to speed up engine progress and it does nothing

Surely you know what BMI means? You change it by training physical once you have stamina to 30. Just get the indicator to change to green. Special ability is done manually but costs tokens. No idea what you mean by blue engine, but if you manufacture your own you can update its attributes for each track by pressing upgrade. You earn upgrade pts each race so similar process to DP

You can use tokens to speed up engine progress, you use the tokens to buy those blue engines,when none of them do nothing Currently. It's hard to explore the new features and non of them work. As for BMI I know what it is but I don't wanna have to do math on an unnecessary feature tlo which I have little understanding of. I don't care about BMI I just wanna find a good driver and race.

For BMI no maths is involved. You just need to get the indicator to turn green

I’ve just worked what you mean by blue engines. They aren’t actually engines but engine upgrade pts. You use these to upgrade your manufactured engines as described in my previous post. If you aren’t manufacturing your own engines they won’t do anything, but if you are manufacturing they do work as I have already upgraded my engine

The BMI addition absolutely botched the game. Makes absolutely zero sense that my 5’9 118 lbs driver is slower than my 5’9 140lbs driver.

If anything you should’ve just adjusted everyone’s drivers weight that spent the time training before the update to the low end of the correct BMI.

And now my 3 level 20 drivers are absolute throw a ways.

you’ve also forced people to spend 100 tokens on brand new drivers just to be competitive again with now level 30.

I’ve spent money on this game yes. But really just to be supportive of it because I play almost every day. But this like an absolute money grab in every facet.

I'm also a little confused by BMI. I have a new driver with low stamina. I'm trying to increase stamina with physical training but I worry that any weightly loss with negatively affect the BMI (it's currently green).

When you train "Physical" you will either get stamina or you will gain or lose weight depending on your BMI. But it will be a positive outcome if you train it and most likely not move once it gets to the optimum spot on BMI scale. Good luck, i could be wrong...but that is what it looks like so far.

You are right about the second part i.e., based on current weight the drivers will gain / lose accordingly to hit the optimum BMI. But from what I have heard from others, initially you only improve on stamina, and only once stamina is 30, you will start to move towards optimal BMI, unlike before when physical training meant you either lost weight or gained stamina at random.

My driver CD, and TD are now useless. Are you giving a rebate in tokens to those who spent them buying from the academy.

Also why do I have to keep buying engines when I have I own??? So I have to pay to use my engine which I use but doesn't have wear to fix but then I have to pay and use another engine which I don't use in race but it still needs repairing...what the actual f...

What I'm going to write now will probably sound crazy, ridiculous and totally unrealistic, but try stepping into my fantasy world while reading:

What if running a game like this and at this scale needs servers, storage and network? What if the host of these servers is a b*st*rd who doesn't want to give that for free and sends Jack a monthly bill that he needs to pay with real money?
What if maintaining a game like this needs people? What if these people have families and all of those want to eat daily? What if they are very spoiled and also want to live in a house with heating and electricity and running water? What if they for some crazy reason don't get this all for free from someone and expect Jack to pay them a salary with real money to be able to pay for all this luxury?
What if keeping the game fixed in the previous state meant close to all maxed out players had no incentive whatsoever to spend any money to progress faster, because there was simply nothing new to progress through and the free money and tokens received every race covered more than enough?
What if this meant that the revenue was lower than the money needed to cover the costs to keep the game running and Jack was spending his own money to keep the game alive because he loves his "baby" and has still many dreams to expand it further?
What if introducing new levels and features gives maxed out players a path to progress through again and tempts several to spend some money on tokens to progress a bit faster?
What if this new injection of revenue ensures Jack can pay the bills again and everyone can keep playing the game without being forced to pay anything?

I know we live in a world where everything is free and the above seems truly far-fetched, but what if...?
