Partial update review...

Being one of the biggest iGP critics around, I must say I'm surprisingly impressed with how smoothly the update roll out has been.

My thoughts on game play so far -

Drivers:

This is an interesting one. I was expecting higher talents to just smash everyone but to my surprise a T20 is still able to fight a T29 (Not tested a T30, but I mean a T29 is no slouch). My first ✅

Special abilities:

Race craft: Perfectly done. Superb first lap when it should be and gradually loses teeth as the race progresses. Second ✅.

Street circuit: This for me was a bit underwhelming, imo it needs a little buff. My first ❌

Qualifying: Doesn't always work but when it does, not OP. Another ✅.

BMI:

A ✅ and a ❌.

Love the idea of healthy weight, but I think it should be a trainable stat (low normal bmi - high normal bmi) Not just something that comes perfect with each new driver.

Levels:

10 new levels and scaling it accordingly gets a ✅.

Providing a buff to reduce max time from infinity to slightly under a year and pairing it with dynamic xp was genius.

Engines:

Concept, a ✅.
Implementation, a ❌.

I have a few issues with this one, top one is the manufacturer unable to accept or deny a customer.

I also think a manufacturer's engines should be secret and visible only to customers. I have some more suggestions but that will be on a different day in a different thread.

All in all, I've enjoyed the game play in the limited time the updates have been introduced, as well as the buzz and discussions the update has created especially the p2w topic. It seems most do not understand what a p2w really is if this newly updated iGP is regarded as one.

How about cutting back on token costs for the rookies?
I especially mean the 5 token for changing the name of the team. This is crazy much for a rookie, whose team is called "johndoe2315543277". You all know this teams.

We have a simple rule in our league : choose a free number and put it in front of your teamname. So everybody has his individual number and the league has its own touch.

Since the update none of the rookies changed their teamname because the costs are incredibly high for them. Its like charging the 21 managers 50-100 for doing so.

Please cut the costs for changing the teamname either completely or only for rookies until level 10 or so. Nobody wants to play a game for long that is so expensive at the start 😉😉

Thanks ✌️😎✌️

You have to train ‘physical’.  Once Stamina is maxed at 30 further training will change weight towards a healthy BMI

I can’t work out how you sell your engines.
It says you will get a link to promote them but where from?

They are already available.  If someone clicks on your profile, then the engine icon and then supply tab they can buy them

Can you drop someone that has asked for you to supply engines to them, as I have some rookie that isn't even in a league using my engines, but I could supply someone who is actually active rather than someone who looks like they've quit the game they are only level 6

this update dont help the weaker players. it actually help more the big ones. they will get even stronger.

the update we would need is a big change in leagues. the players with level 20 and up should not be allowed in some leagues and we should have the option to put a maximum or minimum level to enter a league. this way there would be a better competition. it is very boring to not be able to compete against other drivers because they are too strong or too weak.

right now its very hard for new players to do anything unless they are in a weak league which dont happen very much. most leagues have many drivers with level 20 and now even more. the game often ask you to finish in the top 3 or something while everyone else is higher level and you just have no chance to do it. then u lose reputation and credits. the big players keep win races or finish in the top positions and the small keep lose and have a hard time to improve their car level since u cant do it if u just keep lose all the time and cant get the requirements to not lose points and credits.

this new bmi thing is unfair too. we have trained our actual drivers to be as slim than possible for the weight but now we lose this and have to train them again. some who had bad drivers with alot weight now have an advantage because their bmi is fine. it just make no sense.

the ability is also something else to make the game even more unfair. those who dont have credits cant change this and this again give an advantage to some bigger players and those who spend money in the game.

we should be able to block some user to send us messages. there was someone who was very annoying and arrogant that kept send me messages in private and we cant even block them. also i noticed that you cant block a player from entering a league. there was someone who got kicked in a league i was and he came back and then complaining and make trouble. this make no sense.

I think EXACTLY the same and i am waiting for someone from iGP to respond.

Jeff.

Currently the answer is "No you can't drop someone".

Hi Tje. The principle of being an engine manufacturer is that you can adjust the bonuses and penalties that these engines give.

For that we will spend motor points that we can have:

- 1 point after each championship race

- 1 point while watching an advertisement in the shop (blue engines)

- By buying engine points in the shop.

We must always buy our engines when they are worn out.

This last point could also be deepened in a future update. An engine manufacturer could, for example, have the possibility to buy its engines for money and/or tokens.

Other suggestions, like Archie above and certainly others, I would like to:

-Let us keep it secret where we assign engine points. Even if we suspect how our competitors award their points, sometimes we can try something that we would like to keep for ourselves.

-Whether we can choose whether or not to accept a customer for our engines also seems obvious to me. I understood that this was already part of the suggestions but I allow myself to add my voice to others for this point.

The engine update is good, but how does your driver get special abilites?

You can make your current drivers have special abilities through the editor or get a new driver from transfer or from youth academy.

I have a question...
If my acceleration is already on 200, and I add 20 points to my own engine, does my acceleration then become 220?
Or is it a waste to do that?

TIA

The cap is still 200, so no point.

These needs to be rethought then.  Once you have opted to supply your own engines your can’t change back so either that or the cap needs to change.  At least with factory supplied engines if you start out on say Murk and max out Acceleration you are able to swap to a different engine supplier with different attributes.

My working theory is driver training is broken. I spent 57 bucks on training x2 bonus and 500 tokens to train a talent 26 driver. In 2 races my talent 20 driver whooped him. Plus the league leader is dominating using untouched talent 20 drivers. I would NOT recommend spending money on training up a new driver..

Hi, just one question, since I still have to unlock this feature: is there the possibility to swap engine strenghts from a track to the other? I mean, if you have maxed out acceleration in Elite, so 200/200, and for the next track you put at first acceleration as a bonus, can you switch it to, for example, handling so that you don't waste its bonus?
