I couldn't watch the race using Edge either... Got a pop up window open, then a "not responding" message. Eventually it went past that and counted up to 8, then gave me a blank white screen.

This is the main page,

https://beta.igpmanager.com/app/

and then I clicked on the red rectangle that replaced the green continue rectangle. Didn't notice what the url was that it opened...

If you were on https on the app then it would be a https viewer.

The race data is all there, in the database, but not on the front-end at the moment. That's one of the things we're going to develop.

As this is the beta FAQ thread, I'll expand on that answer:
A lot of people have said that things were "taken out" of the game, but actually it has more to do with what we were able to "put in" to the new game. It's a total re-write as I've said a few times. We didn't start with what we had then take things out, we started all over again and had to write every single page, word on every page etc. all over again. This means feature-wise it's playing catch up to the old game which ran and had pages and graphs and stuff added for 5 years. We obviously couldn't cram every single detail of the old game which we plan to reproduce in on the first version, and have to re-write and add some things still. Detailed results is one of those things, but the data is all there behind the scenes to add it.

No need for lap-by-lap data in the results, all good managers take notes during the race lol.

It shouldn't be for us to study & see where we can shave off a few tenths :)
I think that lap-by-lap data should be for the development teams eyes only, they can look at and see people are doing this and that. Then come up with solutions to help improve the balancing of the game to make sure people don't get too big of an advantage over others by doing this or that.

I totally disagree.

I want to play a management game not a guessing game.

Good to know the race data is still there.

I look at lap times a lot during the race and ever since sector and lap times were separated from the gap, I've fumbled a lot in live management while beta testing because of this.

So, did you see that lap-by-lap data will be returning, and why it isn't there yet? If not, see my last post.

I fully appreciate it's beta/work in progress and not everything is in place yet, was just disagreeing with James' suggestion that lap data should only be available to devs.

there is no not attending :) that is the whole idea behind tablet & phone support no reason not to attend the race unless there is a death or something would look sweet standing by the grave with me head stuck in the fone

It's hardly guessing when the info is on the screen in front of you in the live race, think of poor wee man on the fone he cant look threw lay-by-lap data and see next season he can put in less fuel

Well, at least during testing we really hope everyone will attend the races, to test the game. Convenience features are more geared for live launch. Obviously it won't be playable on a phone straight away, so we will add some kind of support for push levels pre-race.

Sorry to ask, but what happens to all the data we collected so far? I mean, tires and fuel consumption for example.

Thanks in advance for your answers,

Best regards,

Some things may be tweaked, but the data will be useful for the live launch most likely.

For those of you that have been asking, detailed race results have just been added to the new game. Click on the finishing time on the results dialog to see it.
